It was suppose to be a morning market trip,but since we left for market at noon(reason of late night watching Big bang theory) ,every food stall has closed and we could see people splashing buckets of water over their stall and cleaning up..darn it...
So just another day of randomly walking aimlessly around Chowrasta Market and the street within the area.I thought of having dim sum and Tai Tong but dim sum has finished and they were serving lunch only(fried rice and other chinese food)
Flufbanini and I turn back and looked for an alternative when we came across Wen Chang Hainanese chicken rice located at Cintra Street( same street as dai tong dim sum) and so,why not?
We ordered roasted chicken,loh bak,soup and chicken liver.The dishes were served with rice.
The chicken isn't too oily and doesn't leave the "fatty after taste",loh bak was good crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside,chicken liver is a little jelak though.But overall,it was a satisfying meal.
I would give a thumb up for this place.Nice place to bring outstation friends to eat.
