Bah Kut Teh has always being a treat for me!I don't always eat it,but when I do so..I savor every moment of the soup and meat..
My favorite part of Bah kut Teh has always been the Yau Char Koey soak in the bah kut teh soup and fishing it out just before it gets all soggy,this would soak up the soup but still retaining the crispy texture of the yau char koay.oup,
We ordered Meat Ball Pepper soup,stew cht know what the chicken,2 rice.
Now,not knowing how to converse in Cantonese in KL is not very pleasant especially when you want to order Chinese food.
Meat ball pepper soup was clearly not on my mind,though they spoke something and said it was good.So why not try..I expected something with my bah kut teh soup but it turned out to be Pepper soup!
Owh well,whats the harm of trying new things?
The soup was very SPICY!Apprently since we came close to closing time,this is the bottom of the soup where the herbs and PEPPER has sank and resting at the bottom.au char koay.
The Stew chicken was alright,nothing special.Taste like normal stir fry chicken with caramel sauce.
I still love my yau char koay..no comments on my yau char koay!
